Divas United is an organization that supports the efforts of women to achieve professional, educational, career, cultural and economic development necessary to manage their own careers and personal lives and control their own destinies. Over the last eleven (11) years our organization has grown tremendously. We started our journey to empowerment by retreating each year to fabulous resorts and destinations. Our first retreat was in Biloxi MS in 2000 and they treated us so grand that we went back to Biloxi in 2001. In 2002 we took our first Divas United Cruise to the Bahamas and later that year we had our empowerment Conference in Miami, FL. In 2003, we headed to Montego Bay Jamaica and Las Vegas. But our retreat to Cancun in 2004 was delightfully delicious and we took over the French Quarters in New Orleans . In 2005 we cruised to the Bahamas again held our empowerment conference in Dallas, TX. We went back to Cancun and yes we cruised again, but this time it was Del Playa Carmen, Mexico and Key West, FL. Since we just cannot get cruising out of our system, in 2007 we cruised to the Bahamas and Coco Cay. In 2008 we set our sights on Orlando, FL for our women's conference in March of that year and cruised again in October. 2009 was our 10th year anniversary and we headed to the mountains in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Trust me, our Native American Brothers hadn't seen such beauty. In 2010, San Antonio was the spot for us. Our retreats are where we get together and just "Exhale" for two or three days to reminds us of who we are and how special we really are. We rejuvenate our spirits and calm our souls. There are over 500 members with four (4) chapters nation-wide. This indeed is a great organization and we welcome you.
